UMG, MySpace, pals?
p2pnet.net News:- “They’re meaner than junk yard dogs in the world of corporate entertainment, and the latest company to bite into another is Vivendi’s Universal Music, using the odious DMCA to chomp down on Rupert Murdoch’s MySpace,” we posted recently.
We followed up with, “in much the same way that when Vivendi sued GoTube, with UMG’s Doug Morris saying the site consistently violated music industry copyrights, you knew it wouldn’t be long before wedding bells sounded. And it’ll be the same with MySpace, although the process may take quite a bit longer.”
Now, “I think it will settle,” Reuters has Morris saying.
Bidnes is, after all, bidnes.
