IFPI targets Swedish DC users
p2pnet.net News:- Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG, the members of the Big 4 Organized Music cartel, are continuing their attacks on Scandinavian Direct Connect users.
The Big 4’s IFPI (International Federation of Phonographic Industry) has targetted five DC hubs, as well as several of the hubs’ users, says The Local.
In October last year a 44-year-old BorĂ¥s Tidning man was accused of using DC to make songs, “illegally available online”.
Now, “The hub owners we have reported are involved in criminal activity, which clearly and intentionally damages all those who work with music,” the story has the IFPI’s Ludvig Werner saying.
